1. Bleach: That stuff will make your cat sneeze and wheeze like crazy! Plus, it's much better to use natural cleaning solutions when possible.
2. Glue: If you're working on a craft project with glue, keep your kitty far away from the area. Ingesting even small amounts of glue can cause severe health issues for cats.
3. Toxic plants: Certain houseplants are dangerous for cats if consumed or brushed against while passing by. So, do your research before planting new greenery in your home!
4. Chocolate: Any human treat should be kept out of paws' reach as the cocoa in chocolate is toxic to cats and can lead to serious illnesses.
5. Painkillers: Human painkillers should never be given to cats, as the dosage will undoubtedly be incorrect and can even be lethal!
6. Household cleaners: Whether it's aerosol, liquid or powder, any household cleaner should be kept away from cats as they are toxic when swallowed or inhaled. Keep your cat safe and store all cleaning products in a secure area at all times!
7. Antifreeze: This deadly toxin is commonly used in cars but is also highly poisonous for cats if ingested. Make sure you keep containers of antifreeze locked away safely and mop up any spills immediately.
8. Batteries: Any type of battery, whether it's in a remote control or an old device, should be kept well away from cats as they are extremely toxic and acidic. If swallowed, they can cause severe internal damage to your kitty.
9. Cigarettes: Nicotine is highly poisonous for cats, so always make sure to dispose of cigarettes safely and keep ashtrays out of reach from curious noses.
10. Alcohol: Like humans, cats can become intoxicated if exposed to alcohol, with the added risk of drooling and vomiting too! Keep all alcoholic drinks sealed and stored away from paws' reach.
